Kitten Care Schedule


Kittens require vaccinations against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. In some cases Vaccination against Feline Leukaemia, Feline AIDS and Chlamydia may be advised.
Kittens are vaccinated at:

from 6-8 weeks Due __________
at 10-12 weeks Due __________
at 14-16 weeks Due __________

Then a yearly booster and health check.


6 months of age

Parasite Prevention

Intestinal Worming

To control hookworm, whipworm, roundworm and tapeworm.

Worm every 2 weeks until 12 weeks old, then monthly until 6 months old, then every 3 months. We recommend Drontal all wormer tablets, “Spot on" treatments such as Revolution, Advocate or Profender.

Heartworm Prevention

Monthly “Spot On”– Revolution and Advocate

Flea Prevention

Monthly “Spot On” – Advantage, Frontline, Revolution and Advocate

Tick Prevention

“Spot On” - Frontline applied every 2 weeks


Good nutrition is very important. Eukanuba, Science Diet, Royal Canin and Iams are premium quality foods, specifically designed to meet your kitten’s nutritional requirements.


A microchip is a permanent means of identification and can be implanted in a consultation or at desexing
