Training for puppies is critical to the best socialisation for your newest family member. Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery offers puppy classes that start as young as nine weeks of age. Puppies who do not experience appropriate socialisation can suffer dog behaviour problems throughout life, but proper socialisation helps them relate to humans and dogs in healthy ways.

During the first 12 weeks, a puppy’s brain develops social capabilities and starts to associate experiences with either positive or negative feelings.
