For those of you that remember or recognise Toby who received a new cruciate repair procedure in August 2016 at Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery, we are happy to report that Toby and seven other dogs have undergone this surgery all of which have had very good outcomes.
Toby had post op X-rays taken in November is now back to his full energetic self after having 6 weeks rest after surgery – Toby was actively using his operated on leg within days.
The merits of this operation are the relatively quick recovery, the comfort of the recovery and the possibility of having it done at Albany Creek Vets. It is most suited to bigger breed dogs that are still very active or still quite young with the prospects of an active life ahead.
