We have been running successful Puppy Preschool classes for over 10 years and have an outstanding response over the years from committed new puppy owners wanting to give their new charge every chance for a happy and complete upbringing. We offer Puppy Preschool from 8 weeks of age which is a weekly class starting at 6.30pm and running for one hour. The night of the week will vary depending which one of our nurses is taking the class.
Your puppy will learn some basic obedience in that time but more importantly will meet other similarly aged puppies and their owners. The period of the first 12 weeks is considered crucial for the normal development of puppies (equivalent to the childhood of a human). We play pass the puppy so they can become accustomed to other people and puppies without developing fears later in life due to less socialisation.
A photographer visits and offers either photos or a collection of photos at the end of classes.
